Justin Rose and Bob MacIntyre were speaking to Radio 5 Live:
How do you feel after that finish?
Justin Rose: "It’s the last putt of the day, the whole team around. Bobby and I worked so hard all day to get something out of that.
"You look at the significance of the scoreboard and just the fact there was no red on the scoreboard the whole day long. Bob and I did not want it to be us today and I felt we deserved more than that.
"We did play well. Wyndham and Max tag-teamed nicely and were a hard team to beat. We had to work for it. Huge momentum this afternoon on what could have been a huge claw-back for USA."
The oldest man on the team, the wisest man on the team – what did he do for you?
Bob MacIntyre: "He saved my life. The back nine especially he was absolutely immense. He just showed his class there. I’ve learned a lot from him today and I just have to dust myself off and go again.
How did your first shot at the Ryder Cup feel?
MacIntyre: "I stepped on that first tee and I was close to tears in the tunnel. I’ve been thinking about that tee shot for three weeks and I just knew what I had to do. I struggled on the greens today but we move on."
Was it nice being back in the Ryder Cup?
Rose: "I missed that feeling, missed the team, missed the boys, missed everything."
